Job Summary

Orange Printers Pvt Ltd is a Multi Award winning Commercial Printing and Packaging solutions, Creative designing and PreMedia company headquartered at Trivandrum, Kerala with operations based in multiple locations.

We are seeking a capable candidate for the role of Graphic Designer for Creative Design Department.

Role Purpose

The graphic designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

· Plans concept by studying information and materials.

· Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

· Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.

· Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.

· Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

· Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

· Previous experience 2-4 years as a Graphic designer in a fast paced environment

· exceptional creative designing skills

· visualizing capability

· Magazine, Brochure designing experience

· exposure with Adobe inDesign, illustrator, Photoshop, etc..

· Team Player

· Fine Arts or other Media Diploma or Certifications
