Job Title - Frontend Developer
Job Description Summary
Ansira is seeking a hybrid Front-end and UI Developer to work as part of our UI web development team. This position requires a combination of design experience and front-end programming skills (HTML, SCSS, JS).
The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and design centered development. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is a must.
What You Will Do
Build user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Develop, implement, and configure web content solutions using CMS platforms (WordPress, AEM, Drupal, etc.)
Assist with other production task such as testing, debugging and QA
Work with debugging tools like Chrome inspector, BrowserStack, etc.
Convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into functional working components, templates, and pages
Experience/ Background
3+ years’ experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Fluent in HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6)
Experience collaborating with large team of UX, Development, and QA. Scrum preferred
Experience with version control (GIT, Github/Bitbucket, code peer reviews, etc.)
Knowledge of Bootstrap 4 or later
Framework experience (Angular, React, Vue)
Comfortable setting up and contributing to local web development projects (Readme instructions to be provided)
Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery
Passion for delivering high performance, detailed-oriented, testable, quality code
Self-motivated
Stellar problem-solving skills
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Ability to multitask, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
A collaborative mindset, a positive attitude and genuine energy, passion, and enthusiasm for the work
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of design tools (UX Pin, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
Familiarity with templating engines such as Jade, Handlebars, etc
Design System knowledge is a bonus
