Job Responsibilities :

Our team develops commercial mobility software which provides satellite internet in-flight connectivity to several major airlines in the US and abroad.

We are working to provide high-capacity global satellite broadband coverage with our next generation satellites.

Additionally, we implement new wireless waveforms and protocols to deliver high-performance audio and video streaming at-scale for commercial airlines and business jets.

Our team also engineers new software features to harden our software from security attacks.

In this role, you will be exposed to meaningful, high-visibility projects which drive industry-leading software solutions.

Requirements

- 5+ Years of experience developing with C.
- Embedded Linux design, development and testing expertise
- Experience with Python / Linux shell scripts, bash, make
- Experience building Linux systems and large application packages
- Experience with inter-process communication and messaging protocols
- Experience with networking protocols, network security protocols and Linux OS Security
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Preferences

- Knowledge of Wireless Communication Systems (e.g., WiMAX, Wi-Fi, TE, DOCSIS, 5G, VoIP, IPTV, etc.)
- Knowledge of SATCOM networks or other telecommunications systems
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience with Agile development and Scrum framework
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) practices
- Experience developing kernel modules and device drivers
