About Position

You will be aligned with People Analytics Business Unit. You will analyze data in order to build data driven business insights and high impact data models to generate significant business value. You will be using statistical techniques from predictive modeling, machine learning, and data mining that analyze current and historical facts to make predictions about future or otherwise unknown events. The ideal candidate should possess a natural analytic curiosity and be able to think outside the box to challenge assumptions with a line of sight to ensuring high quality analysis and execution results.

What You'll Do
• Creating models and processes to collect, distill and interpret data with a view to aid more informed decision making, examine and explore data from multiple sources with the goal of discovering insights which in turn can provide competitive advantage to our stakeholders
• Partnership with key stakeholders: collaborate with HR and other business leaders to identify, define, and solve of complex problems that have impact on the direction of the people side of business. Leverage available data to inform HR strategies and deliver key business objectives
• Communication Skills: able to clearly communicate (oral and written) the synthesis of data, as well as data analyses, graphs, and advanced statistical analysis to executive leaders and people unfamiliar with analytical tools and/or output in a compelling way, specifically to “tell the story”, and inform potential future actions and strategies
• Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to build business insights or improve data quality.
• Develop data and metrics to support key business strategies, initiatives, and decisions
• Slice and dice through the database and come up with actionable analytical insights
• Support ad hoc analytic queries and projects

Expertise You'll Bring
• Data visualization: familiar with data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI
• Experience using Python for data analysis and data science: Data wrangling, modelling & analysis using Python
• Must have working knowledge and experience of performing advanced and predictive statistics
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Github & JIRA
• Should be able to understand business requirements and translate to technical design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience
