Unilever Operations (UniOps) delivers Technology and Enterprise services to Unilever for improving the effectiveness of our employees, driving efficiency & generating sustainable growth for Unilever.

MDM Ops which is part of Unilever Supply Services org has aim to deliver world class Master Data Management, with both transactional excellence and high data quality levels, , that is standardized, reliable and available to any client, anywhere and whenever it is required.

We will be embracing new data technology that will improve the development, manufacture, and distribution of Unilever’s products to consumers around the world.

Main purpose of job:

This position will support operations by monitoring and analysing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. The job holders will perform various activities around Master Data to deliver efficient, reliable, accurate Master Data transactions/content in support of Unilever’s objectives. He/She would also look proactively to improve the process by following the principles involved in Continuous Improvement.

Key accountabilities:
• Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
• Ensures quality of master data in key systems as well as documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity inl SAP ECC within Unilever
• In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Aids in resolving data quality problems in SAP ECC through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
• Manages, analyses, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
• Work closely with the business to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
• Excellent analytical and research skills. Willingness to work in shifts and support project. Sufficient level of knowledge at handling ticketing tools like BMC Remedy and Solution Manager (SOLMAN).
• Responsible for managing and delivering critical service requests raised by stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Experience and qualifications required:
• Graduate/Post Graduate Degree
• Working Knowledge of the Master Data Environment.
• Good Business Acumen
• Preferable to have a business background in SAP
• Experience working in a FMCG industry gaining a strong understanding of business processes across data objects
