Garment|Fit Technician

Working closely with the designers, buyers and merchandisers to ensure product reflects the intended design and fits perfectly.

• Establishing and maintaining a high standard of quality while considering assigned product price point.

• Leading fit sessions by dictating alterations and style changes while reviewing product on a mannequin and communicating with the wider team.

• Tracking specification measurements at all stages of development to ensure bulk production fit quality and construction meet minimum standards.

• Compile tech packs including digital technical drawings, indication of key construction details and minimum measurements.

• Assessing grading rules, cross checking product against block patterns and approving measurements and bill of materials prior to bulk production.

• Reviewing base and bulk test reports of all fabrics and trims and approving wash care instructions.

• Updating critical paths from initial samples to bulk production in conjunction with the product development and testing stages.
