Job Description – Accounting Intern

Clairco is an award winning company which provides clean air & energy efficiency as a service for Grade-A commercial buildings like tech parks, malls, airports, and coworking spaces. It has developed nano-tech, IoT and AI based technologies to provide WHO standard indoor air quality while saving 15- 18% of energy of the buildings through HVAC systems.

The company has global real-estate companies & corporates as clients like Capitaland, Brookfield,EMAAR, WeWork, Cognizant, Qualcomm, Chennai international airport among others and has presence in 15 Million sq. ft. across all major Indian cities which helps over 5 lac people breathe better air daily while saving 22,500 tons of carbon emissions annually.

We are looking for an enthusiastic accounting intern to join our accounting team. You will be responsible for gathering financial data and preparing accurate reports. Also, you should be able to maintain journal entries.

You will be working closely with the Finance Controller to understand our company’s accounting practices. Besides, you should be detail-oriented and have the ability to conduct in-depth research.Your strong analytical skills are vital in cross-checking and verifying financial documents.

As an accounting intern, you should be highly efficient, motivated, and reliable. Moreover, you should display a learning attitude and be able to cope in a competitive environment. YouYou should also be able to accept constructive feedback and improve your skills. Based on the performance during the internship, a full time position may be offered to the candidate.

Requirements:

❖ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

❖ Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and laws

❖ Excellent mathematical skills

❖ Willingness to learn new concepts

❖ Advanced knowledge of MS office and accounting software programs.

❖ Familiarity with accounting software like Zoho

❖ Highly motivated and reliable individual

❖ Good communication and interpersonal skills

❖ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

❖ Ability to work independently and collaboratively

❖ Good multitasking and organizational skills

❖ Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.

Note: A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel is preferred
