Senior Software Engineer

Third Space Global is a British Ed-tech company that uses cutting-edge technology to provide online tutoring to students around the globe .

To drive our organization forward, we are looking to hire Senior Software Engineers/Senior Technical leads with 5+ years experience, a key position to join our expanding product development team that will work with Sri Lankan and our head office in London. By joining us, you will be part of a team solving challenges in developing the World's First Online Tutoring Platform which manages Schools, Pupils, and Tutors globally.

Technical Skill Requirements
• A broad understanding and experience in working with AWS serverless infrastructure in production, particularly Amazon API Gateway and AWS Step Functions, including AWS Lambda.
• Experience in working with stateless Rails (micro)services in production, including monitoring and maintaining them in a production environment.
• Experience and ability to design and built usable, well-structured REST APIs.
• Experience in scalable distributed architecture using micro-services and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform)
• In addition to the above requirements hands-on experience in evaluating code quality, performance and security. Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills, a fair understanding of design patterns and concepts of modular applications will be useful. Prior experience in working in a Global cross-functional team will be an added advantage.
