Sutherland is seeking an attentive and analytical person to join us as a Delphi Developer. SmartLeap team is deploying multiple toolsets for Sutherland’s Software as a Service (Saas) clients. We need development resource who can develop & maintain tools. The resource will also act as first point of support when it comes to identified issues. This is going to be an ongoing process & need developer with ability to connect and interact with client-side contacts. Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Develop tools based on Delphi
• Perform application maintenance
• Manage ticket inflow & respond within Service Level for Clients
• Define test cases according to functional specifications
• Prepare test report and follow up on reported bug fixes
• Prepare product releases and implement proper control for each product release
• Expect to carry out development/design work for existing and new applications.
• Design & build new applications using Delphi XE 10.4 / XE 11
• Enhance / Maintenance of existing applications
• Creating and Consuming Web Services
• Working under a dynamic agile based environment.
• Strictly adhere to scrum framework and guidelines.
• Coordinate with multiple development teams.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you must:
• Developers should have an IT related qualification. This may be in software engineering, programming, computer science and information technology.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related professional experience
• Experience in SDLC and various test methodologies would be added advantage
• At least 2-3 years of experience in software development environment
• Delphi Developer (Min 1 years’ experience in Delphi)
• Experience in Visual Basic, JSP, ASP development work will be a value add
• Able to work independently and as a team in a dynamic environment.
• Hands-on Experience in Delphi - Object pascal - Desktop application development
• Strong in OOPS concepts, Threading and Memory handling
• Knowledge in Win32 API
• Knowledge in Systems and Networking concepts is an added advantage
• Experience in modular programming (libraries)
• Experience in multithreaded programming and communication (IPC)
• Experience in data structures and algorithms
• Experience in socket programming
• Experience in secure (SSL/TLS) programming.
• SQLite/SQL/DLL/Multi-Threading
