JOB DESCRIPTION:
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Java developer Advanced knowledge and experience in Java development including the handling of a JAVA development environment using Eclipse or IntelliJ, Git, Tomcat, Jenkins etc.
• Good experience in Java 8 and above Hands-on experience in developing applications using Spring, Sprint Boot and Hibernate Hands on experience in developing web services.
• Hands on experience in Design patterns Writing unit and Test Drive Development test cases Familiar with unit test frameworks is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of application servers and deployments is an added advantage. Understanding of Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum Understanding the product backlog and converting them to sprint backlog.
• Experience on code refactoring and performance improvements Participating in the design and creation of scalable software Writing clean, functional code on the front and backend Develop Webservices and APIs Must be familiar with code review process and guiding other developers. Knowledge and experience of multiple frontend languages and libraries such as HTML CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or any other related database technologies Writing SQL queries using different joins, group by, and some of the ranking functions Familiarity with Git and GitHub as a version control tool Knowledge and experience with Vue.JS framework are added advantage or any other UI frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS Identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture design principles and implementations is an added advantage. Bachelor's degree or above with computer science or related field."
