Job ProfileÂ:
• Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networkingÂ
• Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripheralsÂ
• Ask targeted questions to diagnose problemsÂ
• Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructionsÂ
• Conduct remote troubleshootingÂ
• Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issueÂ
• Customize desktop applications to meet user needsÂ
• Record technical issues and solutions in logsÂ
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnelÂ
• Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functionalÂ
• Report customer feedback and potential product requestsÂ
• Help create technical documentation and manualsÂ
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Â
• Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.Â
• Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.Â
• Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.Â
• Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
Requirement :
• Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or IT EngineerÂ
• Hands-on experience with Windows/ OS environments
• Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scannersÂ
• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programsÂ
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructionsÂ
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
