SOC Engineer | Level 2

Experience: 4+ years

Work Location: Kochi

Job Responsibilities:
• 24 x 7 Monitoring of Incidents / Events / Vulnerabilities using Monitoring Tools
• Create Tickets in the Helpdesk system based on Incidents / Events coming from monitoring tools
• Investigate and respond to the incidents reported
• Manage the L1 escalations
• Provide analysis and trending of security log data from many heterogeneous security devices
• Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services
• Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities
• Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends

Skills:
• Knowledge in different SIEM platforms like Alieanvault, Splunk, LogRhythm, ELK etc
• Administrator level experience with back end SIEM systems
• Knowledge of EDR solutions like SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, Carbon Black etc
• CISSP, SSCP, CEH certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience with firewalls, TCP/IP antivirus, cryptography, device monitoring and log management and even monitoring.

Essential requirement:
• Willing to work in dedicated night shift
• Excellent communication skills
