Job Description
We are looking for a SQL/ Software developer who will be responsible for designing databases,
writing applications to interface with SQL database, as well as diagnosing the issues
arising from imperfect code and ensuring stability, reliability, and performance.
You will also work other developers triaging and optimizing in-application SQL statements as
necessary, and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up
with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.
In this role, developers work with project managers, businesses owners, analyst
teams and clients.
Responsibilities
• Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements and triage the existing statements for
further optimization
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases in SaaS as well as on prem
environments.
• Designing tables, storing procedures, views and functions.
• Prepare documentations and specifications
• Handle common programming procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration,
etc.
• Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
