What You Will Learn And Contribute To

Design and implement modern software programming models, runtime environments, and software systems on cloud platforms.
• Write reports and research publications.
• Drive results of the research projects into intellectual property and product roadmaps.
• Develop high-quality theoretical and experimental work.
• Create & maintain strong collaborations with other Nokia teams within Device Management Products

Qualifications
• Experience in a software-as-a-service application built on a modern platform with state-of-the-art open-source technologies.
• Strong understanding of programming in Linux or Windows Operating systems, kernels, device drivers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Software expert with experience in Java and Device protocol specifications
• Prior experience in Device Management space
• Experience working architecting large-scale, multi-threaded, distributed applications, and fast prototyping.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies and hands-on knowledge with one or more of the following: Google Anthos, Azure, AWS, or other Hybrid Cloud technologies.
• Understanding of open source platform services leveraging Kubernetes, MariaDB, Hadoop, NGINX, Jenkins, OpenAPI/Swagger, Prometheus, etc
• Basic understanding of device management, wireline, wireless communications theory.
• Familiarity with OMADM and OMACP
• Experience with experimental lab setups & high-end test equipment.
• Strong & open mindset with a drive for success.
• Readiness to be challenged outside your comfort zone to achieve top results.
• Fluency in English and natural communication in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Computer Science or related field
