PAN INDIAExperience : 8+ years We are looking for Senior VMwareLinux software engineers, who will be part of high-powered technical team that is responsible for designing & developing the replication software to enable DRaaS for hybrid multi cloud environments.
Responsibilities :
• Drive the design, development, integration and delivery of the replication software product for Hybrid Cloud resiliency
• Work closely with product management, architecture and other engineering teams to continuously evolve the software to provide single-click DRaaS powered by Resiliency Orchestration
• Maintain efficient and effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliverables to ensure end to end integration and quality.
• Ensure robust, secure, highly available and scalable software that meets or exceeds cloud providers and end-user expectations
Professional Background – Required :
• MS in Computer Science or allied subjects.
• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in Linux System programming, preferrably in
the Storage or Data Protection domain.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++/data structures/algorithms and strong understanding of OS internals, Memory Management, Socket programming on Linux is a must.
• In depth knowledge in Replication or Data Protection or Work Load migration in Virtualization or Cloud environments.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable programming experience in VMware Storage, Virtualization/Cloud Management APIs, VAIO Framework or Block-level replication
• Experience working in agile development environments.
Professional Background – Desirable
• Experience in developing replication or migration products with expertise in Storage Snapshots.
• Administrative knowledge in one of the hyperscalers or Virtualization environments.
• Knowledge about Service provider environments and DRaaS offerings Good domain knowledge and customer experience related to resiliency for hybrid cloud
environments
