Role Responsibilities

Business
• Financial Markets

Processes
• Data Processes – VaR, PnL calculation using market data from data vendors and mastering reference data for MIFID reporting.

People & Talent
• Co-ordinate with Support, Dev and Testing team

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the .
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Business Team, Operation Team, Support team, and Testing Team

Our Ideal Candidate

Qualifications
• 3+ year experience for development in product Asset Control
• Understanding of Formula engine coding language, specific to Asset Control product
• Strong experience in Shell scripting, and perl.
• Expertise in core Java is added advantage.
• Must have a good understanding of financial instruments across different asset classes.
• Domain expertise in Asset Control System, Reuters, Bloomberg and Markit.
• Extensive background in development and delivering market and reference data solutions.
• Strong hands on experience on DevOps including GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle using Agile models.
• Strong hands on experience on application development including Unix, shell, Perl, Formula Engine (AC), Python, Java, Linux, Database like Oracle and Web Services.
