Area Sales Manager | Garments

A women's wear manufacturer and branded garment maker based in Jaipur is looking for Area Sales Managers in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata to grow its customer-base and establish a presence in the retail markets.

Result oriented and experienced salespersons who understand women's wear readymade garments may apply. We are looking for candidates with an experience of 3-5 years in readymade garment sales.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:
• Working at the ground-level in launching our products in the city that he/she will be responsible for;
• Appointing city distributors in the city/town and establish a monthly target of sales for each sub-territory;
• Upon establishing an initial presence, grow his or her team of sales persons by adding territory sales executives and managers to cater to satellite towns and areas around the cities that the ASM is responsible for;
• Ensuring timely collection of dues from distributors and retailers in his/her area;
• Coordinating with the merchandising team internally to ensure smooth and timely replenishment of stocks;
• Seeking feedback from distributors and retailers on the company's products and relaying it to the design and merchandising team to be incorporated in forthcoming designs.

The ideal candidate would be an aggressive, self-starter, target-oriented salesperson with an experience of 3-5 years in readymade women's wear/ ladies garment sales and distribution channel development. A candidate with an existing set of relationships with trusted distributors and retailers in his or her area of expertise would be preferred. Relationship builders with a long-term outlook for both their careers as well as the company's objective would be prioritised.

Compensation: INR 5-7 lacs p.a. + incentives
