Our fun, dedicated, growing multi disciplinary team is looking to hire a special educator/behavioral therapist
JOB DESCRIPTION
Special educator/Behavioral therapist for a dedicated center specialising in care and support of pediatric patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside other health professionals including speech & language pathologists, occupational therapists, child psychologists, behavioural therapists etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing a fun, safe environment for our patients where they can achieve their goals and improve their ability to function in their everyday lives
-Screening and early intervention
- Pre therapy assessment
- Devise and deliver a suitable treatment plan
- work on a one-to-one basis or in groups
- Specific treatment plans for children with developmental delays and disorders
- Assessing children’s skills and learning requirements
- Designing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
-Collaborating with parents to track student's progress
-Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside other health professionals including occupational therapists, child psychologists etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bsc or Msc in psychology
Masters in Social work
Diploma in special education
• Multilinguals preferred
• +2 years experience would be preferred
Location : 1. HSR layout, Bangalore
2. Jayanagar, Bangalore
