Your role

• design and build scalable solutions for internal and external clients
• analyze and understand business and technical stories, writing code, contributing to release and iteration planning and developing the working practices of the team
• drive cloud adoption for application
• revamp application design from monolithic to micro services architecture in cloud
• act as a mentor for more junior staff in the team
• support the business in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
• make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before being released to production
• contribute widely in establishing and promoting best practices and pro-actively investigating and proposing new technologies for use within the department
Your team
You’ll be working in the IB / Research team in Pune We provide platform to persist, manage and distribute research data, create/manage Research Interests for readership emails. As a java lead developer, you'll play an important role in building customer centric solutions to enhance readerships, using modern technology and design.

Your expertise
bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering or technical fields with 8+ years for relevant experience
• large-scale enterprise, object-oriented design experience
• demonstrable experience in developing enterprise-class applications using Java 8, micro-services, Unix/Linux, Spring, Sprint Boot Hibernate, Maven, JMS, Oracle PL/SQL
• experience in application development, including analyzing stories, writing code, implementing automated tests, contributing to release and iteration planning and developing the working practices of the team
• familiarity with common web application components such as Apache Web Server and Apache Tomcat or similar technologies
• strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
• conceptual understanding of software development including the full project lifecycle from working on multiple substantial projects using Agile development methodologies
• follow Agile methodology and adhere standard SDLC processes
• curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a global team
• team player with an attitude to pursue new ideas and self-improvement
• able to plan your own work, follow the plan and update others on your progress
• the go-to person for the latest development innovation
• imaginative and creative with emerging technologies and an ambassador for test and behavior-driven development
• adaptable, able to work across teams and functions
• strong communicator – able to interface with key business and technology stakeholders
• ready to join a fast growing team
• experience developing applications on cloud, Microsoft Azure preferable
