Platform (Product / Application) Administrator (UI-Path)

Location: Pune / Chennai /Bangalore

Job Description:

The Platform Administrator will work configure roles with permissions to access features and assign the role to a user. Roles grant specific permissions to users, such as Bot Creators and Bot Runners.Primary Responsibility goal is to monitor and maintain the performance of systems, Orchestrator, and networks of UI-Path.

Technology Requirements:
• Experience in Software Configuration Management
• Experience in administering On-Prem and Cloud versions
• Experience in UI-Path Orchestrator Administrator
• Experience in deployment of bots withUI-Path.
• Performs scheduled maintenance activities such as server reboot & software patching.
• Experience in implementation of Security.
• Maintains user and bot accesses in the Orchestrator as approved by system and process owners.
• Awareness and demonstrated ability of implementation of best practices for Bot deployment.
• Works with internal and external IT teams to resolve issues on the infrastructure
• Assists support team to monitor bot runs and resolve production issues.
• Partners with other team members to perform seamless transition of support during time zone rotation.
• Ready to work on a overlap of 4-5 hours of US mornings.
• Ready to work from office

Mandatory skills:

· Overall 5+ years of experience with 3-5 years’ experience in an IT technical support role
• Experience identifying problems, isolating root causes, and initiating corrective actions
• Experience in installing, configuring and setup of UiPath Orchestrator, Licensing and trouble shooting
• Provide guidance to client-side SMEs as to what should be the Ideal configuration of Cloud Client/Servers/Backup facilities and whole of hardware and software that will be required to install Orchestrator/Bot runners and bot creators
• Troubleshooting software and hardware failures and determining network problems
• Monitoring applications and infrastructure components to ensure services level agreements (SLAs) are met, trends leading to problems are identified, proactive actions are taken; and, when needed, immediate problem management activities are addressed

Good to have:
• Good understanding of database, data warehouse, and data lake infrastructure, as well as standard database engineering, and database administration concepts
• Experience with Cloud services, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Experience with SQL is preferable

Qualifications and Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work

Below are few pointers that can be helpful while screening candidates for Platform admin role –
• Experience in deployment of bots to orchestrator (manual and automated) - Mandatory
• Performs scheduled maintenance activities such as server reboot & software patching etc. - Mandatory
• Experience in maintenance of App server and Orchestrator server and should be able to resolve issues related to Infrastructure. - Mandatory
• Troubleshooting software and hardware failures and determining network problems - Good to Have
• Experience in UiPath modern folders and able to maintain user and bot accesses in the Orchestrator. – Good to Have
• Should have experience in UiPath version upgrade (Migration) – Good to Have
