Python Lead Developer | | C12|AVP

Job Description:
This requirement is for a Python Lead developer for a data analysis application in finance domain.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience using Python, Pandas, Oracle PL/SQL and experience with UI frameworks to build responsive UI for dashboards using Python and JavaScript.
You also need experience deploying applications using the pipelines utilizing Git, Anaconda/pypi, Jenkins and Bash scripting in Linux environment.
Knowledge of docker and containerization would be a big plus.
You would need to have a holistic view of the project and application and have experience in risk management and stakeholder management.
You would be leading a small team of developers on the complete project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop maintainable and clean code using Python, SQL and JS based UI Framework
2. Work with stakeholders to understand the functional scope
3. Plan the development, testing and release for the features
4. Own the requirement from initiation to production release
5. Assess risks and work on mitigation plan
6. Lead the developers by resolving their technical issues
7. Add non-functional requirements as necessary and implement them with the help of the team
8. Coordinate with other dev and product teams as well as external teams

Qualifications:
1. 8-10+ years of work experience in Software Development
2. Hands on work experience as a Python developer
3. Experience leading a small team on complete project lifecycle
4. Understanding of SQL, data joins, merging and data analysis
5. Experience with front-end (JavaScript, CSS)
6. Good grasping and problem-solving skills
7. Exposure to large scale data driven apps and concepts
8. Can-do attitude and good team spirit
+. Knowledge or work experience in Banking or Financial Services would be a plus

Education:
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
