Database Administrator

We are hiring for Role - " Database Admin "

Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for Database Administration. Responsible for installation, upgradation, management, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting of the databases.

Responsible for Execution of Database Services meeting required business SLA and information security compliances. Responsible for high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security of the databases. He must have exceptional Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Oracle, NoSQL Databases. He must ensure backup & restore operations in-line with RPO & RTO values. He will be also responsible to recommend & to implement emerging database technologies and to refine & automate database tasks.

Skills & experience:

· B.E / B.Tech/ MCA in relevant Stream (EC, IT, CE) with 7 - 12 years of experience with consistent academic career

· At least 5-7 years hand on experience of working as database administrator in MS SQL, Oracle DBs in 247 production environment.

· Experience of Performance Tuning and Optimization.

· Experience of configuring High Availability, Replication and DR plan for DB.

· Exposure to Cloud Database Technologies, NoSQL Databases will be an advantage.
• Awareness of ISO27001 and ITIL framework

Certification : Microsoft certification for SQL, certification for Oracle is preferred
