Software Programmer
High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital
Address: Nainital, Uttarakhand 263002
Pay Scale: The Software Programmer will be entitled for fixed monthly emoluments of Rs. 35,000/- per month.
Educational Requirements: M.Tech./ M.C.A./M.Sc. (Computer Science or Information Technology)/ B.E. /B. Tech. (Computer Science or Information Technology) from a recognized University/Institution as a regular student having proficient knowledge of Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, JAVA, RDBMS packages like PostgreSql and MySql, with minimum two (2) years experience in any Institution or any other establishment or corporation or under taking or any other department in the sphere of Software Development by the use of Open Source Technology i.e. Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, PostgreSql, MySql with knowledge of Networking and troubleshooting. OR B.C.A from a recognized University/ Institution as a regular student having proficient knowledge of Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, JAVA, RDBMS packages like PostgreSql and MySql, with minimum four (4) years experience in any Institution or any other establishment or corporation or under taking or any other department in the sphere of Software Development by the use of Open Source Technology i.e. Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, PostgreSql, MySql with knowledge of Networking and troubleshooting.
Desirable Qualifications: Proficient in troubleshooting Information Technology equipments, Remote Server Management, Cloud Computing, Network Hardware handling, Installation and good exposure of configuring Network Servers, Switches and offering all kinds of Maintenance, network and support services.
Responsibilities / Job Description:
a. Software Development.
b. Server Management.
c. LAN/WAN Network configuration, Network/Server Security, Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
d. Remote/Virtual Server Management.
e. Cloud Computing.
f. Any other work assigned by the Authority.

How to Apply: The applicants are required to send their Curriculum Vitae along with one duly attested copy of High School mark sheet, High School Certificate in proof of age/date of birth, Intermediate Mark Sheet, Intermediate Certificate, Graduation/Post Graduation Mark Sheet and relevant experience certificate. The requisite information be sent to the official email address of High Court of Uttarakhand i.e. highcourt-ua@nic.in on or before 21/03/2015 till 5:00 PM, clearly stating the subject as “Application for the post of Software Programmer on contractual basis”. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on website of High Court of Uttarakhand i.e. http://highcourtofuttarakhand.gov.in thereafter.
General Instructions: A person shall not be eligible for appointment :- (a) if he is not a citizen of India; (b) if he has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude or he is or has been permanently debarred or disqualified by the High Court or the Union Public Service Commission or any State Public Service Commission from appearing for examinations or selections conducted by it; (c) if he directly or indirectly influences the ‘Selection Committee’ by any means for his candidature. (d) if he is involved in any kind of criminal case whether convicted or chargesheeted.
