Senior Node|js Developer

We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our team. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you'll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Responsibilities
• Migration of Business critical applications from Datacenter to AWS
• Development of new patterns as required in conjunction with the Software Architects and Technical leads
• Development of web services on AWS using the patterns (batch processing or near real-time processing)
• Acquire strong understanding of the system/software architecture designed on AWS infrastructure
• Enhancing, optimizing and supporting the current web services that have been developed
• Re-write or enhancing the existing application
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.

Requirements
• Good understanding of backend service development
• Experience of solution design in AWS and the AWS CDK framework
• In-depth knowledge of Typescript
• Hands on experience with Node JS
• Familiarity with re-use of third-party libraries and RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
• Experience in developing large enterprise services
• Familiarity with OOP/OOD design principles
• Understanding of DevOps code versioning tools, such as Git & deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of IT security / risk & adherence to PCI and other compliance standards
• Experienced in writing unit tests
• Experienced in doing code reviews and pull requests
• Candidates with AWS certifications will be an added advantage
