About the team

What you will be doing
• 5-8 yrs experience working in a Systems administration (Linux/Solaris or AIX)
• Works with Line Of Business representatives to ensure remediation efforts adhere to corporate policies
• Providing support to security practices and implementations of concepts across complex environments
• Generate reports on assessment findings/patch compliance and summarize information to facilitate remediation tasks
• Perform policy compliance scans and deliver reports to the technology owners
• Plan, develop, and execute vulnerability scans of organization information systems
• Identify and resolve false positive findings in assessment results
• Respond to & manage remediation of prioritized vulnerabilities and unpatched systems
• Willing to work in weekend & shifts if needed
• Manages enterprise vulnerability assessments and configuration patch and vulnerability scanning tools
• Work closely with Security Awareness contact to socialize awareness of new vulnerabilities and threats by leveraging threat alerting services and industry research
• Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills – must be comfortable communicating with customers, management as well as technical peers
• Ensure Quality of deliverables
• Should be flexible to work in shifts, predominantly UK OR US shifts

What you bring:
• Education - Bachelor or higher degree
• 5-8 years' experience in working in IT services organization
• Good skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Hands on experience in supporting Unix Servers
• Oversight of the vulnerability management process
• Awareness in SVM (Security Vulnerability Management) team for vulnerability fixes
