Job Title – Lead - Software Engineering

This role will be part of the Analytics team within the Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Business Unit

The Purpose of this role

FFIO provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products.

We are looking for a Lead who will work in our core technology team partnering with business operations to technically solution for critical requirements of our Investment Operations analysts.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and coordinating sophisticated application platforms for Fund and Investment operations. We would like you to actively participate in planning, execution and delivery process for application product teams. Your technical expertise will be used to build our next generation application platforms on the cloud. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your attention to detail to align with the technology blueprint and solve business problems through design, development and ongoing support. The Skills that are Key to this role - Technical & Behavioral

Understand requirement, source to target mapping and Data model and create mappings.

Ensuring associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines and data management policies

Strong working knowledge in ETL – Informatica.

Hand-on experience in Snowflake - Writing SNOWSQL queries.

Good SQL knowledge.

Working knowledge in Unix

Good Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Dimension modelling.

Good knowledge in agile methodologies.

Good knowledge of Scripting (Python scripting, Shell or PowerShell)

AWS Cloud knowledge.

Experience in debugging issues and failures in Informatica workflows.

Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.

Experience in working with ServiceNow and ability to manage changes and its processes.

Coordination with onshore & offshore application teams, Operations and business teams.

Work with onsite teams to acquire a solid understanding of core deliverables, current state of technology and the strategic direction guiding future effort.

Participate in the definition of both functional and non-functional requirements of a system and define the BI delivery strategy.

Good Communication Skills - Both Written And Oral

Deployment using Udeploy / Datical

Effective communication and excellent “story-telling from data” abilities

Ability to influence stakeholders and provide thought leadership

The Expertise We’re Looking For

Bachelors in Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology.

Relevant experience of 5 – 8 years

Shift timings: 11:00 pm - 8:00pm
