Job Description

Role purpose:

•Knowledge of Database Administration and Architecture

•Administered Production Databases & have knowledge of different Oracle versions from 12c, 1+c, AWS RDS & OCI

•Should have knowledge of database migration from legacy to Cloud (AWS/OCI)

•Should have knowledge of upgrading from older to the latest Oracle versions

•Knowledge of Enterprise Manager, RAC, Performance Tuning, Database Development

•Should have knowledge of Active-Passive Cluster

•Support Database Operations with working closely with the application team.

•Should have worked with tools like Remedy, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Support

•Should accomplish on-call support for the Database during peak times & ready to work in 24/7 environment

•Should have Support knowledge for Database upgrades, Migration and performing production checks.

Role 2: Oracle 1+c DB administrator (AWS/OCI)

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Primary Skills: 12c & 1+c Oracle Database Administration/OCI/AWS/L2 Production Support/Unix

Key accountabilities (Role Description):

Ensure the availability and performance of All Production Databases.

Manage Database Operations support along with performance tuning & PL-SQL & Unix scripting.

Advance knowledge at UNIX Level is mandated to handle jobs, batch processes, and tune existing processes or create a new one accordingly.

Work on incidents, service requests, and change requests from the user departments.

Should have a minimal introductory knowledge of database connection to middleware & other application tiers.

Experience in working with an international team.

To come up with ideas to enhance the monitoring and maintenance of systems.

Desired Profile:

•To analyze performance bottlenecks. Identifying issues causing application-functionality slowness (scripts/pl-sql-code/user-generated queries).

•Knowledge of Enterprise Manager, RAC, and Database Architecture

•Monitor & Participate in Auditing & SOX Compliance activities.

•Profound knowledge of UNIX, Oracle SQL, Shell-Scripting, and at least one scripting language (e.g. Perl)

•To have proficient application database support operations skillset with a minimal 4 to 6yrs of experience.

•To Deliver/Develop environment support/maintenance scripts for atomization, and BAU operational activities to smoothen/stabilize the system.

•Telecom Knowledge would be added advantage.

Behavioral/ Personality Specifications Required:

Should have excellent communications skill.

A good team member and one keen to learn new technologies.

Professional Certifications like 12C OCP, OCI Professional, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Oracle 1+c RAC administration would be preferred.

B.E candidates would be preferred first.

Role 3: TuningPercona/PostgreSQL/Cassandra DBA

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Job Description

An experienced Application DBA professional with experience ranging from 7-10 yrs in database administration on Oracle + Aurora (PostgreSQL)/ Cassandra.

He has to be an individual contributor and willing to support Oracle & non-oracle databases.

Expectations in Aurora (PostgreSQL/Cassandra)

·Experience in configuration of database & operational support

·Well versed in Memory Architecture, Storage Architecture & Cluster Architecture

·Experience in Data Replication, Transaction consistency.

·User Access Management and Security audit

·SQL query Tuning.

·Database upgradation/Migration along with integration with other RDBMS/non-RDBMS databases from AURORA.

Working experience on Google or AWS cloud
