Our opportunity for you:

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Mumbai-Vikhroli-West

Key Responsibilities:

Internal accounting:

• Review financial statements and accounting for various internal companies.

• Assist or prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end closings and Group reporting

• Analysis of monthly financial performance, particularly of costs

• Ensure accuracy of G/L postings and reconciliations

• Manage cash and prepare cash-flow forecast

• Ensure accuracy in data used by and in reports generated by the Finance department

• Provide ad-hoc reports as needed

• Implement processes, controls over the accounting function

• Develop KPIs, performance analysis;

• Prepare budget and forecast, provide regular variances analysis

• Strong cost management and reporting implementation

• Take initiative by proactively following up on daily matters

• Anticipate potential queries and issues. Address these queries in a timely manner by informing the responsible Finance Director and/or any other Vistra officer

• Be a role model to less senior colleagues in terms of professionalism and behaviour

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience within an accounting position

• A good written and spoken knowledge of English

• Excellent communication and organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines

• Strong relationship management skills

• Proactive with a client service orientated attitude

• Ability to solve problems, work independently and as a member of a team

Education/Professional Qualifications:

University degree in Accounting and/or Finance
