We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our product team at Global IDs.
In this role, you will work on full-stack development with modern technologies such as Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, Hive, NodeJS, and Apache Zookeeper. You will also have the opportunity to work on machine learning/artificial intelligence algorithms.
Role: Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate an understanding of what needs to be done for the project to be successful and ensure that all members of the team are contributing accordingly
• Work closely with developers, clarifying requirements and ensuring delivery provides value to customers
• Define and gather technical and UX requirements for new features and enhancements
• Manage and maintain the product backlog of features, engineering, and quality aspects for engineering teams
• Prioritize complex features across multiple areas of expertise considering quality, resiliency, and delivery timeline trade-offs
• Manage customer and stakeholder expectations
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers, providing feedback on suggested designs and requirements
• Join customer calls to gather requirements
• Provide technical leadership to team members through coaching and mentorship

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Core Java and related technologies
• Proven experience with JavaScript and JavaScript-based frameworks such as AngularJS, VueJS, ReactJS, etc.
• Experience in databases (relational and no-SQL like MongoDB)
• Unit testing (Junit, Jest, etc.)
• Knowledge of AWS, machine learning will be an added advantage
• Proven decision-making skills supported by data, user understanding, and intellect
• Demonstrated ability to solve large complex problems
• Proven ability to handle multiple, fast-moving creative projects and have the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
• Strong team handling experience, with at least 2 year of experience in team handling
