Job Title – Software Engineer
The Purpose of This Role
Fidelity's Software Engineering group is looking for a Tech savvy Software Engineer to join the team to work on design, implementation, testing and support activities on the features for enterprise SAAS platforms. The Software Engineer will work closely with technical leads, stakeholders, and product managers to support and enhance the products.

The Skills That Are Key To This Role
Technical
• Must have working experience working on Workday and building Workday integrations (Core Connector, EIB, Studio, Report) and knowledge in Workday Functional HCM
• Experience with JAVA, REST API development, API gateways
• Experience and good knowledge of AWS, mainly VPC, load balancers, EC2, compute, lambda , storage , RDS , EFS , S3 etc
• Experience with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline)// DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Concourse, Git Stash, Artifactory
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and vendor interactions for support

• You have experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban)
• You possess strong engineering skills and experience developing maintainable, scalable multi-tiered applications.
• You are a strategic problem solver, bring your curiosity and excitement; desire to collaborate and work closely in a paired programming environment; be energized by fast, iterative, and acute programming practices.
• You are open to direction and following agreed upon standards; yet be comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy experimenting, developing, and communicating alternatives.
• You have maniacal focus on automation and always looking towards reducing waste and improving efficiencies.
• You should enjoy communicating and learning the business behind the application.

The Expertise We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of IT experience
• B, E. in Computer Science preferred, Engineering / Mathematics or comparable.
Location: Bangalore - Manyata
Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
