Roles And Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities for Research Associate:

- Handling of equipment in lab related to circuit design, development and evaluation, including maintenance, demonstration and working
- Assisting with academic research
- Ensure sufficient stock of consumables/parts/accessories required for smooth functioning of research activities
- Managing project related correspondence
- Maintaining and updating website content
- Assisting in administrative duties such as completing reports and presentations

Roles and Responsibilities for Lab Technician:The roles & responsibilities of the lab technician (Home & Space) NDII are given below:

- To assist to Chief Operating Officer for smooth conducting of routine work Of NDII
- Preparation of laboratory reagents, preparation of textile printing paste for incubatees
- To assist in the setting of the weaving loom & prototype development in the complex fabric structure.
- Maintenance of infrastructural facilities, sophisticated textile equipment & apparatus of NDII(Home & Space)
- To assist for development of prototype to incubatees from sophisticated machine like Digital ink jet printing, Electro spinning, Laser engraving 3 D printing machine etc.
- Impart practical training to the Incubatees by demonstration of textile machines & other equipment.
- To help and mentor, innovators/ entrepreneurs in developing their ideas into shaping the Business plans

Roles and Responsibilities for Lab Technician - Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories (F&LA):

- Repair & Maintenance of Machines installed in the Lab
- Preventive Maintenance Records of each & every machine installed in Lab
- Assisting incubatee in demonstration of Machine operations.
- Keeping records of all Machines, and Accessories and their day-today maintenance.
- Ensure sufficient stock of consumable/parts/accessories required for smooth functioning of machines.
- Identification functioning of machine.
- Identification, Processing and follow up of requirements/ equipment/ parts.
- Operational demonstration of Machine to incubate /Industry participants/visitors etc.
- Accountability & safety of all machines/accessories consumable items from theft, damages and pilferage etc
