Vidyalai is an Ed-Tech startup that provides personalized learning solutions and educational products to students across the globe. We cater primarily to the secondary and higher education market, which includes middle school, high school, and college students. Through a video chat and a collaborative online whiteboard, our state-of-the-art online classrooms enable students from all over the world to learn directly from top teachers, without any constraints of geography.

The Academic Associate (Subject : Physics) position at Vidyalai is a highly impactful role where you would be working in developing educational products for K-12 (high school) students. It requires a deep understanding of your subject of expertise and a passion for teaching and pedagogy.

Responsibilities

Inculcate and enhance an intense understanding of international academic boards- International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge GCSE, etc., to develop academic content for the same.
Connect via online with students through the platform set by Vidyalai to teach, mentor and as well realise their learning objectives wherein there would be 35 hours of classes per week.
This profile is particularly a remote job but can expect to come to the office once or twice a week as per requirements.
Classes would be arranged in 2 peak slots; 8 AM - 10 AM and 4 PM - 10 PM but can also expect classes during other time slots as well depending upon student requirements. If you do not have an assigned class, you are free to use the time as you see fit. Reasonable notice will be given before you are assigned a class.
Skills and Qualifications

A strong academic track record in your subject (10th, 12th and college)
Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic and bias to action
Results-oriented and self-starter
Selected candidates should be comfortable with signing a two year service agreement with us.

Salary: ₹260,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
