Frontend Software Engineer |Wealth Management

Your Team

We are looking to hire a Frontend Software Engineer who has technical experience, to work on Banking implementation projects in the area of Wealth Management. You will work together with various other teams as the Customization teams as well as the product development teams in Zurich, Edinburgh and Manila. The whole group is responsible for developing and maintaining our Avaloq solutions.

You are responsible for the implementation of the core technical components and solving technical challenges within the Wealth Management application.

Your mission
• Closely collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and other Software Engineers
• UI/UX Design, develop and maintain UI application solutions within the Wealth Management
• Improve and optimize existing functionalities using best practices
• Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise
• Work and contribute in / to an agile environment, helping us improve our processes and practice
• Write Documentation of implementation

Qualifications

What you need:
• University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in programming
• Angular 2+, Angular JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML andCSS/SCSS
• Experience working with projects that use web services (REST API and consume JSON)
• RXJS, npm, yarn, GIT
• Proficiencyin English
• Agile (Scrum) know-how

You will get extra points for the following:
• Banking knowledge, especially on wealth management
• Angular Material, and working with UX designers
• Testing framework (e.g, Cypress, Jest)
