Must have experience in Paper & Pulp Industries for 3-5 Years

Effective communication and computer skills

Excellent problem-solving and people management skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Process water and paper testing procedures

Exercise 100% environmental and safety compliance

Provide engineering expertise for process design, system optimization, quality control, commissioning & start-up, and trouble-shooting of paper machine systems.

Evaluate chemical vendor’s proposals and co-ordinate chemical trials for improving paper manufacturing

Perform routine process testing and communicate results to the operations and management team

The ability for troubleshooting Paper Problems.

Work with operations and maintenance team to identify and implement process modifications that lead to improved safety, quality, costs, and efficiency

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.

Perform carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs.

Performs touch-up and finish painting.

Picks up and delivers supplies and materials.

Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues

Install appliances and equipment

Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing the lawn, collecting trash, etc.

Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs

Maintain, serviced, cleaned, and properly stored equipment

Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)

Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces

Participate in different projects (e.g. renovations)

Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues

Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Perform other related duties and activities as required
