Responsibilities
• Handle month end closing, prepare journal entries
• Review journal entries
• Ensure the monthly financial reports, reconciliation and analysis are prepared timely and accurately
• Prepare IFRS 17 booking, reconciliation and reports
• Assist in annual audit
• Support ad hoc matters as assigned
• Involve in the UAT of specific enhancements to resolve Dual reporting issues as well as data gaps that we have identified
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required

Eligibility
• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• At least 3 - 5 years experiences in accounting
• Must have experience insurance accounting
• Excellent MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint must) skills,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent in written and spoken English
• Experience in SUN, Oracle, SAP accounting is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and influence others
• Proven ability to navigate through ambiguity within a complex organization across a variety of functions and across various level of management
• Possesses a growth mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo and try new approaches
• Demonstrated strength and ability to design and implement processes and standards
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
