Safari Kid is an International Chain of Preschools and After School Programs, founded in the heart of Silicon

Valley in Newark, California. Over 15 years, 35,000 children going through the program have shown consistent excellence in elementary and middle schools. We currently have more than 50 schools across the

US, Canada and India. We are keen on expansion in India and want to bring an Experienced Lead Teacher on board.

Objective:

To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Job Description:
• Assessing students' academic and social development, maintaining necessary records, creating progress reports and meeting emotional needs while being sensitive to the child's feelings and actions.
• Coordinating and supervising the preschool personnel, which includes aides, volunteers, and assistant teachers.
• Facilitating the all-around development of all children, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Supporting the development of the children within the curriculum. Producing accurate and effective observations to assess the children’s progress and their effectiveness
• Using a variety of resources representing multiple perspectives and addressing the individual needs of children with different levels and types of ability. Providing reassurance to new children to enable a smooth transition.
• Utilizing a range and balance of planning, teaching, and assessment (recording and reporting) strategies. Execute Monthly/weekly/daily learning outcome goals, implementing and supervising into daily classroom practice
• Be accessible and available as a point of contact for parents or careers. Actively communicating with team members and creating an inclusive environment for the staff, students and parents.

Requirements:
• Education: Preferably certified in early years education
• Experience- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead/Head teacher in pre-primary teaching.
• Organizational skills: Highly organized, able to plan and organize daily activities, and manage administrative tasks.
• Creativity and flexibility: Creative and flexible, able to adapt to the changing needs of young children and create engaging and fun learning experiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: good listener with attention to detail in case of children, patient, ability to remain calm even in challenging situations, good conflict resolution skills and empathetic.

Salary: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
