Revenue Accountant

We are looking for CA with min. 2yrs experience post qualification for a digital lending platform company.

Designation: Revenue Accountant

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

Responsible for the monthly revenue close, which includes preparing and/or reviewing/posting monthly revenue entries, account reconciliations, and analytical review procedures
Perform review of customer contracts for revenue recognition considerations
Work closely with management and external auditors to ensure the company is compliant with the latest revenue recognition rules and Sarbanes-Oxley
Prepare and analyze monthly trends/variances to ensure accounting records are complete and accurate
Assist in optimizing accounting policies and procedures and implementing internal controls over the order-to-cash process
Partner closely with cross-functional groups (i.e., FP&A, Sales/Operations, etc.) to provide technical guidance, training, support and drive best practices and scalable revenue processes
Support external audit requests for quarterly review and annual audit
Perform ad-hoc projects as required, including user acceptance testing for system implementation projects e process
Lead other special projects as required

Job Requirements:

CA with 2-3 years of experience post qualification
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, data driven environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented with ability to multitask and have a strong ownership mindset
Strong systems knowledge with experience in Microsoft Excel is required
Experience with Workday, NetSuite and FloQast are a plus
