Software Engineer |Java| Spring

The Software Engineer role is a part of the team which specialises and develops the Docking & Mooring Central Monitoring System.

The Central Monitoring System is responsible for safely managing the Docking & Mooring of the ship. It provides the users with context specific information and real time intelligence to take safe and accurate decisions.

The opportunity will allow you to work with latest technology stack and build full product development lifecycle knowledge. You would be collaborating and closely working with your international peers in Australia to learn and share knowledge.

What You Will Bring

It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following skills and experience:
• 3+ years of strong Java8+ coding experience professionally.
• Strong Clean Coding practices.
• Strong SQL Skills.
• Working experience in Spring or SpringBoot.
• Ability to work in an Agile team.
• Desire to seek innovative solutions for complex challenges.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Design.
• A keen desire to write code.

The Must Haves
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or its equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
