Designation - SAP BODS DeveloperJob descriptionResponsibilities:Deploys code across Dev, QA and Production environments using central repositoriesDevelops/Maintains/Supports new and existing data flows from multiple source systemsDevelops/Maintains/Supports business rules and process around data cleansing, consolidation and validation, etc.Troubleshoots/debugs ETL and SQL query issues and provides solutionsDevelop views and ad hoc/scheduled SQL queries to analyze data, produce exception reports, validate data and as required by the functional teamCreates ETL solutions using data warehouse design best practices, such as Star-Schema design and Change Data Capture, etc.Assists in the design and creation of logical and physical data models for reporting databasesProduces data flow diagrams and other documentations and diagrams as neededWorks with Director and Project Manager to develop and follow project plans and resource estimates. Works with Reporting team and data integration team to define and develop user data requirementsIntegrates, collaborates and leads projects, working hand in hand with Business Analysts, Data Warehouse team and DBA and the infrastructure teamWorks with functional team to assist in the preparation of source to target data maps. Work with project team and collaborate with both reporting application developers and OLTP technical leads.Assists in gathering/reviewing business requirements, partnering with business analysts, providing feedback on functional request feasibility and scopeTechnical experience with all of the SAP BODS application modules (Extract, Transform, Load)Perform data load activities for each mock load, cutover simulation and production deployment identified in L1 plan into environments identified.Provide technical support, defect management, and issue resolution during all testing cycles, including Mock Data Load cycles.Complete all necessary data migration documentation necessary to support system validation / compliance requirements.Support the development of unit and end-to-end data migration test plans and test scripts (including testing for data extraction, transformation, data loading, and data validation).Experience in BODS Designer Components- Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores and Formats.Experience in BODS performance tuning techniques using parallel processing (Degree of Parallelism), Multithreading, Partitioning, and Database Throughputs to improve job performance Experience with SQL and SQL Scripting HANA, Oracle DatabasesUnderstanding technical specs for ETLUnderstanding of integration points and the order of their executionProfiling various information systems, capture source/target mappings and transformations based on project requirementsDesigning complex SAP Data Services job flows to extract from/load to systems such as HANA and OracleExperience with SAP BODS transforms such as Query, Validation, Merge, Case transformsTuning jobs for high volume and complex transformation scenariosConfiguring BODS componentsGood communication skills Must have hands on experience with SAP HANA (Installations, troubleshooting, upgrades/migrations)More information about this SAP BODS Developer JobPlease go through the below FAQs to get all answers related to the given SAP BODS Developer jobWhat are the job requirements to apply for this SAP BODS Developer job position?
