Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer - ROR
Experience: 3 Yrs - 5 Yrs
Work Location: Chennai, India
Required Skills: RoR, JavaScript, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• The RoR Developer should be familiar with developing and managing RoR projects.
• Should possess good programming knowledge in RoR, JavaScript, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Essential Job Responsibilities Able to understand the requirements and apply necessary Analytical skills in transferring the understanding to the solution.
• Should be able to work independently and as a team.
• Have a huge and fast learning curve to newer technologies and implement them.
• Good and transparent reporting to the Middle / Senior Management team
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and software development principles.
• Testing and debugging code to ensure optimal performance and reliability of web applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to web applications.
• Documenting code and contributing to technical documentation for web applications.
• Should honor the delivery commitments and take necessary efforts wherever required and good communication.

Requirements
• Good programming knowledge in RoR (Ruby v 2.5 & above, Rails v 6 & above) along with other common libraries, MySQL / MariaDB, MongoDB
• Knowledge of SQL & Joins is essential.
• Knowledge of JQuery, HTML/CSS
• Should have knowledge of IDEs like VS Code / Other editors.
• Familiarity with the MVC model and ORM is expected.
• Ability to design and write code complying with coding standards and other factors like performance, scalability, reliability, reusability, and modularity in mind.
• Experience in building Unit tests, and knowledge in Source Control (Git / SVN / Bitbuckets) is an added advantage.
• The work location will be Chennai, India
