Position Summary
HHAeXchange https://www.hhaexchange.com/ is the leading technology platform for home and community-based care. Founded in 2008, HHAeXchange was born out of an idea to create a fully comprehensive end-to-end homecare solution to help people who are aging or have disabilities thrive in their homes and communities. Today, our 700+ team members across the globe are passionate about transforming the healthcare space by building the only homecare ecosystem that fully connects patients, personal care providers, managed care organizations, and states.

Essential Job Duties
• At least 2-4+ years of experience with Ruby and web development with Rails
• MySQL/PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Practice with OOP principles/familiarity with Functional Programming principles
• Proficiency with Test-Driven Development
• Proficiency in Design robust, scalable and secure features, write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Other: JavaScript, Bitbucket, Redis, REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and questions skills
• Agile, Continuous Delivery and software release methodologies
Nice To Have Skills
• PHP
• Drupal
Other Job Duties
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.
Travel Requirements
• Not much of travel
Required Education, Experience, Certifications And Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 2-5 years of total software engineering experience
