POSITION: Spring Technecian (Machine Setter)

DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: ITI / Diploma / BE Preference = Mechanical / Mechatronic
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Min 3 years as the Setter on Spring Forming or Coiling machines
SALARY / REMUNERATION: At par with the Market / Industry and the skills
JOINING REQUIREMENT: 1 month

REQUIRED SKILLS:
1 Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
2 Hands on experience on Spring setup (Extension, Compression & Torsion Springs)
3 Ability to use Profile projector & Load testing machines
4 Able to set the machine with a minimum guidance on Spring Former / Coiler
5 Knowledge of Wires, Strips for both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials
6 Great organization and planning skills
7 Able to follow client specifications
8 Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
+ Self-motivated and strong analytical skills

10 Attention to detail, prioritization skill, and time management
11 Quick learner with a positive attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 To understand the Machine planning & meet the production targets
2 Understand the part drawing (customer drawing) and check the feasibility study
3 Prepare the required tooling for the spring setup in coordination with the Toolroom
4 Part set up on the machine within the specified leadtime
5 Procure the raw material from the stores and execute as per the Job Card
6 Ensure the FPA (First Part Approval) cleared from the QA
7 Ensure the inprocess part quality is inline with the FPA
8 To participate in the CFT meeting to understand the quality complaints and reply on RCA
+ Adherence to the IATF and ISO documentations

10 Continuous improvement in the production line
11 To train the junior level operators to uplift their skills
12 To provide daily production report to the PPC
13 To handle the line production along with setting
