RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interview product owners and technical experts to gain an understanding of highly technical subject matter Interview product managers and engineers to gather functional requirements

• Obtain a deep understanding of products to translate complex product information into simple and engaging content

• Interface closely with support and product management to define and implement documentation updates.

• Create eLearning content using Camtasia or Adobe captivate

• Writing scripts and creating ppts for video content creation

• Design and develop a complete documentation suite - Write easy-to-understand user guides and online help; create clear, concise, thoughtful and highly usable technical documentation

• Perform style and structure reviews to ensure adherence to standards

• Track and fix documentation defects

• Work in the scaled agile framework

• Estimate, plan, and schedule documentation deliverables
REQUIRED SKILLSET:

• Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation in a Product company

• Ability to write scripts and create content for eLearning videos

• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail

• Reads complex engineering documents and interviews product developers to obtain deep understanding of features and functions

• Topic based and structured authoring

• Documentation estimation

• Ability to work independently

• Experience in writing REST API documentation

• Understands DITA framework and works with a team of writers
Desired Skillset

• Knowledge of software tools like Robo Help, Oxygen, and Captivate

• Experience in DITA migration
