Lab Technician

HelpAge India is a reputed charity known for its pioneering work in support of the disadvantaged elderly. Our work has benefited over 8 million elderly and our programmes cater to more than 1.5 million older people every year. We work in the areas of health care, livelihood support, residential care, disaster mitigation, social security and rights of poor elderly. The funding for the programmes is largely indigenous and raised from individual, institutional and corporate donors. We also advocate for formation of policy related to the elderly. The position requires a strong commitment to the state of elderly in India, and a strong interest in and understanding the relevant issues. As a matter of policy, HelpAge India operates rigorous recruitment and selection procedures and checks, as deemed necessary.

We are currently looking for a Lab Technician based at the following locations: Kasna, Uttar Pradesh

The prime responsibilities will include:-

· Conducting Pathological test after collection of sample.

· Maintaining lab reports for Doctor’s perusal.

· Assisting the Doctor

· Any other work given by the Line Manager time to time.

The successful candidate will be:-

· Diploma Lab technician with 1-2 years of experience

· Should be sensitive to the cause of the organisation

· Should have eye for detail

· Should have sense of responsibility

· Should be good at record keeping and generating reports

· Should have updated knowledge of test and subject
