Sr. IT Engineer

Job Description:

Drive efficient and effective deployment of Software ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) & DevSecOps tools. You will help in deploying and upgrade of IBM ClearCase/ClearQuest and Atlassian tools and drive efficient usage. You will act as the direct interface between tools team and users and resolving any user issues/support needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Application deployment and upgrade of IBM ClearCase/ClearQuest and Atlassian tools.
• Coordinate with the application development teams, business stakeholders and IT, define the upgrade and communication plan for the tool’s users, send out upgrade, informational and outage notifications
• Implement robust operational monitoring for all tools in scope with publicly visible dashboards and application availability status
• Regularly assess and maintain Honeywell Global Security standards including, patching, hardening, use of standardized images
• Contribute to incident management investigation and root cause analysis when tools are affected, implement corrective and preventive actions; ensure the team is represented on IT outage bridges and communication channels when appropriate
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and contractors for tools development and maintenance activities
• Ensure a five-star user experience and address improvement requests and suggestion

YOU MUST HAVE
• Experience in Software Configuration Management (SCM) of development data
• Detailed experience managing ClearCase and ClearQuest with Base/ Unified Change Management(UCM)
• Experience in handling GIT or Bitbucket projects and servers
• Ability to learn new tools and technology as per strategic priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability capable to working well with others in a self-directed, virtual environment
• Experience in Oracle, PERL, Automation and Change Management
• Strong customer support and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to assume a variety of application support roles
• Excellent English Communications Skills (both written and verbal)
