Job description: Job Profile Marketing Manager Job Name Corporate Writing – Writer- Analyst Relations Level Manager – CL7 Workforce Enterprise Role of the Corporate Writing Team The Corporate Writing team tells the Accenture story through multiple lenses and formats to help the company strengthen and advance its impact and growth in the marketplace. By writing and editing high-quality content, the team helps advance Marketing + Communications’ goals and serves as stewards of the highest editorial standards. Position Description The Analyst Relations Writer, Corporate Writing helps promote, protect and defend the Accenture brand. This role works with marketing and business leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop comprehensive written responses to industry analysts' competitive evaluations (RFIs) that align with our messaging and demonstrate our leadership across our business areas. The Analyst Relations Writer advances Accenture’s business by helping the company earn recognition and top rankings for its market-leading and innovative solutions, delivery and client work. The Analyst Relations Writer is a highly motivated marketing or communications professional with impeccable writing skills and a detail oriented, proactive team player who possesses exemplary judgment and an ability to turn abstract and complicated issues and information into simple and powerful narratives. Responsibilities Develop, write and edit content and briefing materials to support Accenture's response to industry analysts' competitive evaluations (RFIs) from key industry analysts.
• Lead the industry analysts' competitive evaluation response process—including developing the response development calendar, leading content development discussions, editing incoming content, and participating in reviews—ensuring that the submission deadline is met.
• Work closely with industry analyst relations leads, area marketing leads, business and function leads, SMEs, client engagement teams and other relevant parties as appropriate to shape the content, which could include solution descriptions, value assessments, market and business strategy, and client stories.
• Edit SME content to achieve one voice and ensure alignment with key messages. Interview subject matter experts and others from across services, corporate functions, and global programs to inform messaging and editorial.
• Translate technical language into clear and accessible copy.
• Identify connection points across all our initiatives in order to develop overarching storylines. Integrate strategic messaging around corporate reputation, citizenship and positioning, as well as inclusion, diversity and equality as appropriate. Collaborate with industry analyst directors, industry marketing directors, client executives and other relevant parties to meet deadlines.
• Uphold highest editorials standards and ensure application of Accenture style guide. Preferred Experience
• Minimum of 5-12 years of marketing/communications and/or writing experience
• Experience in a large global enterprise strongly preferred Experience in analyzing, developing and communicating complex information, as well as developing compelling external
• Proposal writing or journalism experience a plus Preferred Skills
• Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills – ability to produce compelling content to achieve desired results
• Maintain a consistent level of high quality across all written work Knowledge of core marketing communications and editorial essentials, including strategic message development, executive communications and AP style writing Track record of conceiving, writing, and coordinating external messaging, including talking points, presentations, and RFI responses
• Strong strategic, analytical thinking skills, with demonstrated excellence in creating and articulating positions Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple assignments simultaneously while collaborating with a team of marketing and communications professionals, including contractors and third-party vendors
• Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing timelines
• Able to work effectively – and at speed – across functional and geographic groups
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision Experience in integrated communications, including in-depth knowledge of global digital platforms (web, mobile, social), face to-face channels, content strategy, publishing and management
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting, either military or civilian Considerations
