Team lead

• Oversee the warehouse activities such as receiving, warehousing, distribution, maintenance operations, order booking, billing, accounting, replacement, documentation, and logistics. Ensure an annual or periodic safety audit and compliance requirements as per company policies.
• Provide instructions and assistance to warehouse personnel in terms of work processes and programs.
• To coordinate opening and closing the warehouse on time and conduct toolbox meetings with all employees daily.
• Allocate duties for employees and ensure that the discussion points are noted, acknowledge the same, and appreciate or welcome suggestions on a proactive basis from team members.
• Verify and ensure that all employees adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards.
• Planning, organizing, and controlling comprehensive warehouse operations.
• Develop, delegate, implement, and follow through on product movement and storage strategies within the warehouse.
• Educate the team on company policies, mission, vision, goals, objectives, and standard operating procedures to make sure that each worker or member of staff is informed and working properly.
• Responsible for setting up the layout and ensuring efficient space utilization in the warehouse.
• Analyze workflow and handle space requirements.
• Act as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) escalation for warehouse related issues among the team and the management.
• Ownership and empower warehouse personnel with information on best safety practices, and share best practices in the workplace.
• Responsible for collating the daily reports from the warehouse staff, analyzing them, and formulating reports for internal and management meetings.
• Responsible for the stock accuracy of the warehouse stock: daily PIC, monthly, and annual full stock counting.
• Responsible for stock reconciliation if there are any shortfalls or deficiencies in the same.
• Responsible for building effective plans to provide training to employees for working efficiently and smartly.
• Responsible for developing cost-reducing strategies for the entire activities of the warehouse on a continuous basis to achieve profit and perfection.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Monitor and assist in the loading and unloading of items or products.
• Responsible for ensuring that all the products are assigned to corresponding storage areas with the use of proper equipment and stacking and storing the merchandise.
• Responsible for keeping track of daily work in the warehouse with regard to the billing status.
• Responsible for the cash counter key and updating the expenses in the petty cash register after verification of the vouchers and scrutinizing the reconciliation of accounts.
• Responsible for maintaining all documents related to the warehouse, along with financial records and statutory and legal licenses, and simultaneously responsible for keeping records of the daily transactions of the warehouse.
• Responsible for ensuring that goods stored in the warehouse are not damaged.
• Prepare an annual budget, plan out expenses, analyze any variances, and make necessary corrections to help the company achieve financial objectives.
• Ensure all customer concerns are handled timely and accurately.
• Make sure that the entire warehouse is always kept clean and sanitized.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures.

The required qualifications are:
