TRAVEL CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

Job Time: 10 am to 7 pm (6 Days Working)

OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience in OTAs and Travel. Aertrip is an opportunity to utilize your all-around skills to the full extent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing the Finance Department in the capacity of VP Finance
• Preparation of various financial MIS ratios, analysis and reports
• Reconciliation & internal auditing of:

Accounting Entries

Vendors and Vendor Incomes

Customer Accounts

Payroll and salary statements

Banks, Payment modes and Payment Gateways

Third party accounts

Direct and indirect taxes
• Maintaining strong credit control
• Filing direct and indirect taxes
• Preparation of account confirmations from various third parties
• Preparation and reconciliation of various final accounting reports
• Preparation of various final accounts on monthly, quarterly and annual basis - TB, PNL, BS, Cash Flows

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
• Qualified Chartered Account
• 5+ years of experience in a CA firm or large organizations
• 3+ years of experience in travel accounting, audit and taxation
• Should have experience of managing a team of at least 10 members
• Certification from travel associations like IATA, TAFI, TAAI, ASTA, IATO, PATA and UFTAA is a plus
• Should have experience of managing finance operations
• Should have excellent skills and experience in working on ERP systems
• Should have expert level understanding of advanced Excel
• Good analytical skills and performance-orientation
• Thrive in a variable and demanding start-up environment

PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Accounting software like Tally ERP +, Excel, Satnam, etc.
• ERP systems like SAP or similar
• IATA and agents accounting
• Indirect Taxation: GST, Professional Tax, etc.
• GST Filing: GSTR 1, GSTR 2, GSTR 3B filing with reconciliation.
• Travel industry’s GST: SAC / HSN Codes relating to the travel industry, taxation rates of
• various travel services, GST calculations, applications, laws and procedures.
• Direct Taxation: Income Tax, TDS sections and procedures.
• Direct Tax filing: filing Income Tax Return, TDS, TDS Return.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Payroll Management: Salary breakups, tax exemptions under various sections, ESIC, PF, PPF, etc.
• Final Accounting - Trial Balance, PNL, Balance Sheet.
• BSP / IATA Statement reconciliation.
• Reconciliation of Debtors & Creditors and Reconciliation of Banks.
• Various accounting report generation - Aging Reports, Fund Flow Statements, etc.
• Understanding of banking and various bank financial instruments like Bank
• Guarantee, Letter of Credit, Credit, Overdrafts, etc.
• Company law & Company Secretarial activities.
• Updated with various taxation and company law changes.
• As a Financial Manager: Understand and derive company valuations and various growth ratios (PE, EPS, Dividends, DYR, Book Value).
• Understand and derive profitability at various levels.
• Understand and derive various liquidity ratios and analyses.
• Understand and derive various management efficiency ratios and analysis.
• Understand and derive various leverage ratios.
• Understand and prepare various financial reports like CMA, financial projections, etc.
• Understanding of stock markets - IPO, stock exchange, secondary markets
• Airline and CRS Commission & ledgers statement reconciliation
