Junior Technician Microbiology

Job DescriptionJob Description Good knowledge of Microbiology and Molecular Biology techniques, Infectious diseases, antimicrobials, mycobacteriology, mycology, parasitology, bacteriology, molecular biology and GLPs.
Ownership of Instruments and tasks assigned. Through routine equipment maintenance (PM & calibration).Active participation in QC review, internal audits & external audits. Maintaining TAT, Logs for Errors, Critical values notification, Sample rejection review, Clinical correlation, Monitoring STAT & Pending list.
Validation of tests results in daily activities.
Handling of customer queries.
Informing Critical values to customers for prompt action of treatment, communication with customers for Clinical history and test correlation.
Actively participate in research & project work.
Actively participate in promotional activities of tests with team members, and other activities as suggested by management.
