Job Summary

Our customer has created the first Digital Lost Property tool for Business and Consumer, the only platform that allows you to get your lost item back wherever you are, at any time. Customer is now setting up a team to upgrade their product based on RoR version 3.0 to RoR version 7.0.

Responsibility & Duties

The work consists in maintaining the existing system, written mainly with Ruby on Rails, taking care of the implementation of the new features and the management of servers (Linux on AWS). You'll contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle, writing clean codes to implement robust advanced scalable features. You'll also contribute to DevOps by deploying code efficiently and securely.

Essential Skills

· At least 6+ years of experience in Web Development.

· Excellent knowledge on Ruby and at least 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.

· Propensity for the development of DRY code, with high maintainability and readability.

· Highly familiar with PostgreSQL.

· Experience in writing RESTFUL JSON API

· Knowledge of Java Script Language

· Good Knowledge of Written and Speaking English

Nice to Have Skills

· Familiarity with Linux and command line tools.

· Knowledge of the AWS environment

· Knowledge of Docker

Benefits

Weekly Hours: 40 Hours.

Rate: Rs. 45K – Rs. 50K/Month all-inclusive basis plus GST.

Over time: Yes (Subject to project manager's written approval)

Expenses Allowed: Yes (Subject to project manager's written approval)
